Dinner at B.&B. last night. Chicken, scallops and prawns veg. and potato. Yum. Below- Caught out, couldn't wait to start.

Showing colour of red sand, similar to the colour of the soil on south coast.

                                  Broken down old house.

I like the shape of  these barns. Also have smaller ones for back garden sheds and much bigger ones for big barns.

                                        Old school House

Took this photo just because it kooked nice.

House made of bottles, below bottle shape made with bottles

Family we looked up that are part of the Bagnal family but Pete couldn't work out all the family connections. Had a nice couple of hours at their home having a few beers. from left Pete, Grace, (Margie's Mum) Margie and Richard Kays.

Pete with his new friend Mr Lobster. Hope to eat plenty of these over the next three days in Charlottetown as our unit will have kitchen so we can cook some meals.
First of all the Federation bridge we crossed over yesterday is 13kms not 16/18 kms like I said. That was a real  ROSS ROSS.

Left   B. & B. at 9.00am after a full hot breakfast and arrived back at 3.00pm We travelled 186 miles up to North Cape and down the western coast back to Summerside. Started off cloudy this morning but by early afternoon sun was out.

North Cape is where the two oceans meet. It was such a calm day there wasn’t even a ripple on the water so no crashing of the tides.
Sunday must have been lawn mowing day down the west coast. A lot of the houses are on large sections. All lawn with a little two or three story houses on them. No garden or trees just huge lawn. Of course they all had ride on lawnmowers and it seemed that everyone was out doing this. Probably because  the  locals tell us that they have had a lot of rain and this week is the start of the sunshine so hope it lasts. .
Continued down the west coast.  Stopped at the west cape lighthouse which was built in 1875. They have also turned this into an Inn.
This is the red coast. Cliffs and sand very red colour like the soil. Saw lots of red fields  all ready for cultivation. Stopped at the potato museum as this is a very big industry in PEI growing potato’s.
Went out at 4.00pm to meet some people that Pete had had as a contact re very distant relations from PEI. Nice people but didn’t really find out anything more than what we knew. They wanted us to stay for dinner but we had already ask our chef to cook us dinner which was a very nice steak veg. and a huge PEI baked potato.
Haven’t tried any  lobster yet but will have plenty over the next  three days as we will have a kitchen  in our next accom. So will really pig out with seafood as it is cheap to buy but expensive in restaurants. We can buy lobster for $6.00 a pound, can’t wait.
Leave for Charlottetown tomorrow.
